Well my name is Melanie & I'm a twin! Calm down boys! We don't like to share! I am twenty-nine years old. I may have not done any of the things I was expected to do by now, but I am on my way to doing them. I quit two of my three jobs and I dropped the loser I called my boyfriend. I finally realized if I would just go back to school and finish my degree; I could work one job that would pay the same as the three jobs I had been working. I completed a CNA/HHA program in Madera and I passed the state board test on Jan 24, 2009. I have to say, it wasn't what I expected! I sat down with a wonderful counselor, and we mapped out my way to graduation. If all goes well, I can graduate next Dec with an AS in Biological Science and apply for the nursing program. I know the nursing program is very difficult to get into so, if I don't get into the nursing program right after I graduate, I'm going to enroll in an LVN program. Iâ??ve always wanted to be a veterinarian, but realistically, Iâ??m too old to try anymore. So, I can be a nurse. Who wouldnâ??t want a job where you can go to work in your pjs? I will finish college. I will be successful, and I will be happy. On top of going to school, I also work at Starbucks! It may not be the best job, but it pays the bills.

I'd like to meet first and for most, "A MAN OF GOD"! I've realized in all my past bad relationships that they didn't work cause he wasn't a man of God. Hi I just graduated last semester from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a BA in Illustration and just recently moved back over the winter break.....hmmm I'm going to do my best to make this not sound like a resume or something equally boring. I was raised in the Fresno/Clovis area and while I love parts of the bay area I guess this place is still my home.
So obviously I like to illustrate/draw. I play the guitar, bass and little bit of piano and listen to a lot of albums. I love animals. I have a 22 pound cat that acts more like a dog than a cat. I watch tons of movies/tv seasons on DVD ( Netflix is amazing, is that sad? I don't care )...and play video games when I can.

I am a private person by choice, I believe in having a couple really good friends rather than a bunch of acquaintances. If you happened to see me on the street, I would seem a distant, but I actually am a very friendly person, you just have to talk to me.
I am socially awkward in large groups, and I tend not to say anything unless spoken to. That has probably something to with the fact that I don't say anything unless I have something that needs to be said, and because of that I come off as shy. I just don't feel the need to unnecessarily talk all the time. I've found that when I do talk though, people listen.
I play guitar. My uncle recently gave me a California made Fender Stratocaster, 2002 Sunburst. I tend to play blues and early rock, starting to pick up some jazz as well.

I love to backpack and hike, anything outdoors really. Backpacking is one of my major passions and I go as often as I can.

I think I've come to realize that my life is pretty dang good. I mean, I have a good job, people who care about me, and a bright future ahead of me. I don't like people who live for shock value such as cheating to get attention, people should be a little more real when they are looking for a relationship, pretending to be something you're not will just land you with some typical asshole. I try not to do that because i want to attract someone with the same views on love and companionship as me. I understand that this system of looking for someone is the same for everyone, any views or preferences someone may have for dating I am very open to building a relationship in whatever way makes them comfortable.

I am up for talking through AIM, MSN or on this site, if you go to FCC we could meet up in between classes or if you want to meet for a date sometime, that would be cool too.

I would really like to find someone who likes me for who I am, and not what they wanna make me. Im a family oriented, loving guy who has a lot to offer the right girl if she comes along. I do not wanna waste my time on someone who is not looking for something serious. My ideal woman would be athletic, loving all kinds of sports and animals. someone who snowboards or is willing to try, not someone who wants to sit in the lodge and drink all day. A little rough around the edges but knows when its time to shine. someone beautiful with a beautiful sarcastic sense of humor just like mine. I love motorcycles and ride mine as much as i can, one of my goals is to open a custom bike shop just so i can direct some of my artistic influnces in a positive direction. I am not a big drinker or party guy, however im not a bump on a log either. My perfect weekend would be going to the lake with friends on sunday which leaves the rest of the weekend for me and the person im with. If I am catching someones attention, by all means write me somethin and we will see where it goes.
